Flyper in Abu-Dhabi UAE is seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team. You will perform eye examinations, diagnose vision problems, and help patients choose glasses and contact lenses while delivering excellent customer service.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of Optometry experience and a valid local license. Weekend or evening shifts may be required. We offer a competitive salary package of 1200 AED along with benefits such as medical insurance and flexible working hours.

You should possess excellent communication and customer service skills as you will be interacting with customers on a daily basis. Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities as an Optometrist include conducting eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, providing appropriate treatments such as prescribing corrective lenses or medications and educating patients on eye health care. You will also be required to help patients select the right glasses or contact lenses based on their individual needs, take measurements for eyeglasses frames and provide advice about eyewear maintenance. Additionally, you may be required to manage records related to appointments and treatments given to customers or other office tasks such as preparing reports or ordering supplies when needed.

Qualifications

The successful candidate must have at least 3 years’ experience in Optometry as well as a valid license issued by the local healthcare authorities in order to practice in Abu-Dhabi. In addition to this, he/she must have excellent customer service skills along with strong problem-solving abilities and interpersonal skills in order to interact with customers effectively. Finally we would prefer someone who is open to working on weekends or evenings if necessary.
