Job summary

PPOAR is seeking a skilled Land Surveyor in Umm-al-Qaiwain to conduct detailed land surveys, collect data for mapping and engineering projects, and prepare accurate survey reports.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 3+ years of field surveying experience, proficiency with surveying instruments, GPS systems, and related software, and strong communication and analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional certification or license is preferred but not required.
• At least 3 years of experience in land surveying or related field.
• Proficiency with specialized surveying instruments, software programs and GPS systems.
• Excellent problem solving skills with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed surveys of land using specialized surveying instruments.
• Collect data on land features such as elevation, boundaries, contours, etc.
• Prepare survey reports detailing the findings of the survey.
• Develop maps and charts based on survey data.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure that design requirements are met accurately.
• Ensure accuracy of survey results by double checking calculations and measurements.
• Provide technical advice when necessary.
