Job summary

JobCenter in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAE, seeks a Surveyor to join our team. The role involves surveying and mapping land areas, collecting data with GIS and GPS, and producing precise maps and reports.

You will review deeds, advise on development projects, and may supervise junior staff while ensuring regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Surveying and at least 3 years of experience, with strong problem solving and communication skills; salary is 1,500 AED per month

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Surveying or related field required.
• At least 3 years of experience in surveying roles.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong problem solving, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Survey and map land areas and provide topographical data.
• Collect data using GIS, GPS and mapping tools and analyze results.
• Prepare detailed maps and reports based on survey results.
• Review deeds, titles and boundary documents.
• Develop designs based on survey findings and advise on development projects.
• Supervise junior staff when necessary and maintain records.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations and liaise with clients.
