Job summary

Work standard in Umm-al-Qaiwain, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a qualified Land Surveyor to join our team. The role involves mapping and measuring land parcels for development, with duties including establishing control points and producing survey documents.

Requirements include a degree in civil engineering, at least 3 years' surveying experience, proficiency with AutoCAD, and strong mathematical and communication skills. We welcome immigrant applicants.

Qualifications

• Degree in civil engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years' experience in land surveying.
• Knowledge of surveying laws, regulations and standards.
• Proficient with AutoCAD software or similar programs.
• Ability to read blueprints/maps/plans.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Strong communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Establishing control points used for surveys.
• Using instruments such as total stations, EDMs, GPS and levels.
• Collecting data from existing control points.
• Preparing survey sketches, maps, reports, charts, digital models and other documents from field survey data.
• Keeping records of surveys including measurements and calculations performed.
