Job summary

The Talents Nation invites applications for a General Insurance Underwriter based in Dubai, UAE. You will assess risks across Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine and SME lines, prepare quotations, and coordinate with insurers for policy issuance and renewals.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years' underwriting experience with an insurance broker, strong product knowledge, and excellent English communication to work with clients, insurers and internal teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of General Insurance Underwriting experience in an insurance brokerage.
• Strong knowledge of Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine and SME insurance products.

Responsibilities

• Assess client submissions and risks across Property, Liability, Engineering, Marine, and SME insurance lines.
• Prepare quotations, quote slips, proposals, renewal terms, comparisons, and recommendation sheets.
• Coordinate with insurers for policy issuance, endorsements, cancellations, refunds, and premium adjustments.
• Support the sales team and maintain accurate underwriting records, documentation, and CRM/portal updates.
