About the job

We are seeking a highly driven Expansion Manager to expand Tether’s growth and presence in UAE through adoption of its solutions, products, and services. The Expansion Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and executing new business opportunities, establishing strategic partnerships, and navigating regulatory landscapes. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams to develop and implement go-to-market strategies in UAE and across the region.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional who believes in financial inclusion, digital currencies, and driving innovation in Asia’s financial ecosystem. Occasional international travel is required.

Responsibilities :

  1. Business Development & Partnerships
    • Identify, engage, and secure new business opportunities in UAE and the region.
    • Build strong relationships with partners, customers, and stakeholders.
    • Develop strategic partnerships with financial institutions, fintech firms, payment providers, and government entities.
    • Design and implement go-to-market strategies to expand Tether’s products and services.
    • Track and analyze KPIs to assess and optimize market strategies.
  2. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
    • Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, threats, and growth opportunities.
    • Analyze USDt and fiat flows for data-driven decision-making.
    • Monitor regulatory changes and assess their business impact.
  3. Stakeholder & Government Engagement
    • Manage relationships with regulators, government agencies, and industry bodies.
    • Represent the company at key meetings and industry events.
  4. Marketing & Community Engagement
    • Support and participate in fintech, blockchain, and digital assets events, conferences, and meetups to enhance brand visibility.
  5. Investment and Venture Growth
    • Identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities that align with Tether’s mission to expand its ecosystem, drive financial inclusion, and deliver meaningful impact for underserved communities and broader humanity.
    • Support the growth of Tether’s portfolio and partners in local markets and across the region.

Qualifications :

  • Deep knowledge of the UAE market in general, culture, and regulations in blockchain, fintech, digital assets, remittances, and payments.
  • 7-10 years work experience in cross-border settlements, mobile money, and payment infrastructures; telecom or banking experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, with a Business, Management, or Finance degree (MBA preferred).
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in partnerships, KPI monitoring, and business growth.
  • Analytical, strategic, and results-driven with problem-solving skills.
  • Entrepreneurial background and project management expertise.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, evolving environments with international travel readiness.
