Qualifikationen

• Bachelor/Master/PhD in sport or exercise science (as stated).
• Current registration as an Exercise Physiologist with recognized bodies (BASSE/ACSM/ESSA).
• At least 3 years of experience in Exercise Physiology or related field.
• Minimum 1 year post-accreditation experience.
• Proven experience conducting fitness assessments and designing tailored exercise programs.
• Certified Exercise Physiologist credentials and active certifications.
• Eligibility for UAE healthcare licensure (DOH/DHA) or equivalent.

Exercise Physiologist (Health-Science Degree & License Required)

The Exercise Physiologist plays a fundamental role in implementing and monitoring tailored exercise plans based on individual patient data. This position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to optimize health outcomes, support lifestyle medicine and longevity initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of IHLAD's mission in preventive, data-driven healthcare

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive fitness and health assessments for clients.
• Design, implement, and monitor individualized exercise and rehabilitation programs.
• Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and multidisciplinary teams.
• Educate and motivate clients about safe, effective physical activity and lifestyle change.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Utilize the latest research to inform clinical practice and support client outcomes.
• Ensure high standards of professionalism, ethics, and confidentiality in all interactions.

Must have requirements

• Certified BSc degree (minimum 3 years) OR MSc (minimum 1 year) OR PhD in sport or exercise science.
• Current registration as an Exercise Physiologist with one of the following: British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences, American College of Sports Medicine, or Exercise and Sport Science Australia.
• At least 3 years of experience in Exercise Physiology or a closely related field.
• Minimum 1 year of post-accreditation experience in the relevant field.
• Proven experience conducting fitness assessments and designing tailored exercise programs.
• Certified Exercise Physiologist credentials and currently valid, relevant professional certifications.
• Eligibility for healthcare professional licensure by a regulated healthcare authority in the UAE (such as DOH or DHA) or an equivalent regulatory body.

• Knowledge of chronic disease management protocols.
• Additional certifications in specialized exercise testing and prescription.
