Qualifications

• Proven experience as Pastry Chef or similar in premium cafés or luxury hotels
• Expertise in artisan pastries, viennoiserie, cakes and chocolates
• Strong leadership and kitchen management skills
• Creative menu development with strong presentation
• Experience managing production, food cost, and quality control
• UAE or GCC hospitality experience is an advantage

A renowned standalone gourmet café and artisan bakery in the heart of Dubai is seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to lead the pastry production and deliver exceptional handcrafted desserts and baked creations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the daily pastry and bakery operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Develop and execute seasonal pastry, dessert, viennoiserie, and bakery menus.
• Create innovative products while maintaining the outlet's signature offerings.
• Ensure all products meet presentation, taste, and quality standards.
• Manage food cost, inventory, ordering, and production planning.

• Maintain HACCP and food safety standards across the pastry kitchen.

We're looking for someone who has:

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Head Pastry Chef, or Pastry Sous Chef in a premium café, artisan bakery, luxury hotel, or upscale restaurant.
• Strong expertise in artisan pastries, viennoiserie, cakes, desserts, chocolates, and bakery production.
• Creative approach to menu and product development with an eye for presentation and current market trends.
• Strong leadership, organization, and kitchen management skills.
• Experience managing production, food cost, and quality control.
• UAE or GCC hospitality experience is an advantage.
