Private Banking & Wealth Management Group

Private Banking provides high-net-worth clients with an end-to-end banking service to help manage their full banking and investment needs effectively. Our dedicated bankers provide a wide variety of solutions to meet clients’ investment and borrowing requirements, including complex and bespoke loan structuring. Wealth preservation requirements are addressed through a comprehensive wealth planning solution, tailored to individual needs

In this role, your key responsibilities include:

  • To lead the acquisition of new customers and potential new innovative service for existing clients ensuring their personal and business needs are met by leveraging ADCB’s offerings across various business units in order to achieve assigned targets and contribute to the bottom line profitability of the department
  • Proactively utilise external professional network and network internally within the Bank in order to attract new to Bank clients and capture client service synergies
  • Act as primary point of contact for all client interactions and perform day-to-day Banking services in order to meet and exceed client expectations.
  • Assume ownership of any client issues in order to ensure timely resolution
  • Collaborate with internal specialists in order to craft effective wealth management solutions for clients, covering asset management, credit and succession planning.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and proactively interact with internal resources in order to provide product solutions for clients
  • Review and monitor work, minimise errors in transaction execution and service delivery and comply with all relevant regulations, policies, and guidelines in order to protect the Bank against all credit, legal, reputational, and other risks

The ideal candidate should have the following experience:

  • At least 8 years of experience in a commercial/universal Bank context in a relationship management client facing role working with high net worth clients executing client transactions across business with product experience from capital markets solutions, hedge funds and private equity
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Client service and acquisition skills
  • Ability to network across stakeholder groups
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to use fact based analysis to win broad support for new concepts and ideas
  • Written and spoken English
