Job summary

Rixos Bab Al Bahr in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a proactive Head of Housekeeping to lead the Housekeeping, Laundry and Internal Communication Center, ensuring the hotel delivers exceptional service and luxurious standards.

You will supervise room preparation, front and back of house upkeep, inventory, Pest Control coordination, HACCP compliance, energy and waste management, and cost control while collaborating with Front Office, Engineering, F&B and Guest Relations to exceed guest expectations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Housekeeping operations including Laundry and Internal Communication Center, ensuring hotel standards are known and followed.
• Ensure rooms are prepared and inspected per standards and guest requests, including Turn Down service.
• Maintain front of the house and designated back areas.
• Regularly check night shift cleaning.
• Manage inventory levels for Housekeeping and Laundry; approve requisitions.
• Coordinate with suppliers and contractors; oversee Pest Control schedules.
• Implement housekeeping HACCP procedures and energy/waste management.
• Monitor cost control and suggest savings programs.
• Supervise linen and uniform management and handling procedures.
• Ensure VIP guests are accommodated; inspect VIP rooms.
