At Hilton Dubai Palm Jumeirah, an Executive Housekeeper is responsible for overseeing all housekeeping operations to deliver an excellent Guest and Member experience, evaluating guest satisfaction, and setting department targets and objectives.

What will I be doing?

As an Executive Housekeeper, you will oversee all housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure an outstanding guest experience. Your responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing housekeeping and laundry operations
  • Evaluating guest satisfaction and monitoring trends for continuous improvement
  • Managing departmental budgets, stock, and cost controls
  • Setting targets, work schedules, budgets, policies, and procedures
  • Inspecting fixtures, fittings, and appliances for standards compliance
  • Monitoring team performance, training, and teamwork
  • Ensuring team knowledge of room categories and amenities
  • Maintaining communication within hotel departments and with external partners
  • Providing ongoing training and conducting communication meetings
  • Managing staff performance and recruitment
  • Utilizing property management systems effectively
  • Assisting other departments as needed

What are we looking for?

To succeed as an Executive Housekeeper, you should demonstrate:

  • Experience in housekeeping/laundry within the hotel or leisure sector in a managerial or supervisory role
  • A proven record of managing large teams
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong commercial awareness and cost control skills
  • Experience managing a department and Profit & Loss statements
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Commitment to high customer service standards
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to different situations
  • Proficiency in computer programs, including Microsoft Office
  • Strong organizational, budgeting, and problem-solving skills
  • A passion for delivering exceptional guest service

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Property Management Systems.
