Job Description

Role Overview: The Executive Housekeeper oversees all housekeeping functions, including laundry, floral arrangements, cleanliness of front and back-of-house areas, ensuring luxury service through high standards, team leadership, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and communication operations.
  2. Ensure guest rooms, including VIP and turn-down services, meet standards.
  3. Oversee floral arrangements and maintenance of public areas and entrances.
  4. Maintain cleanliness of back-of-house and utility spaces.
  5. Manage inventory, linens, uniforms, and equipment.
  6. Coordinate with suppliers and manage pest control schedules.
  7. Implement HACCP procedures relevant to housekeeping.
  8. Promote sustainable practices in waste and energy management.
  9. Conduct inspections with engineering and maintenance teams.
  10. Oversee budgets and control costs, identifying savings.
  11. Manage Lost & Found records and guest item returns.
  12. Inspect VIP accommodations and ensure personalized services.
  13. Collaborate across departments for smooth operations.
  14. Ensure readiness and responsiveness to guest needs.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in luxury hotel housekeeping.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience in developing SOPs and procedures.
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
  • Budget management and operational cost optimization.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Knowledge of HACCP and sustainability practices.
  • Proficiency in hotel management systems and MS Office.
