We are actively seeking an ambitious professional to join our Group Business Service team at ADCB to work alongside passionate colleagues who share your ambition to redefine excellence in UAE banking.
In this role, your key responsibilities include:
- In conjunction with, and as required by the Chief Officer of the Group, contribute to the formulation, implementation and delivery of the Group’s strategy in line with the ADCB’s vision, mission, values and prioritie
- Translate the strategy into operational business plans for the short, medium and long term within the department(s) and ensure that performance is monitored, reported and delivered, necessary actions are taken to achieve the strategy and plans and tangible outcomes are delivered
- Establish and lead the Enterprise PMO function as a center of excellence aligned to the bank’s strategic goals.
- Partner with executive leadership and teams to prioritize and deliver large-scale, cross-functional programs such as digital transformation, regulatory change, core banking modernization, and M&A integrations.
- Translate strategy into executable, trackable initiatives across retail banking, corporate banking, risk, operations, and IT
- Define and enforce standardized project governance, lifecycle methodology (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), and controls in compliance with banking regulation
- Ensure effective management of program risks, audits, and regulatory commitments
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs), dashboards, and reporting structures to the executive committee and board and ensure transparent timely communications of all programs
- Understand business priorities and strategic requirements in collaboration with the key in order to prioritise use cases across the Bank and to maximise business impact
- Collaborate with relevant heads in order to support the embedding of AI across the Bank.
- Act as a thought leader and subject matter expert on emerging trends and technologies and recommend new tools and techniques in order to enhance the Bank's data capabilities and to present findings and drive adoption of AI and new technology initiatives
- Partner with internal stakeholders, key planning and approval bodies, including product development teams, risk management, finance, business management and IT in order to identify opportunities to deliver the identified business and customer outcomes
- Act as a role model governance to ensure a sustainable model and framework is implemented across the Bank
- Communicate the impact of the CPMO to key stakeholders across the Bank, including executive leadership, and providing regular updates on progress to ensure alignment with broader business goals
- Lead the monitoring of and the compliance with regulatory requirements as needed, in order to drive a culture of ethical behaviour across the Bank and ensure compliance and adherence with set Bank requirements
- Manage employees and teams by overseeing their performance management, recruitment, learning and development to ensure high levels of engagement, and competence, a motivated work environment and to maximise employee contribution to business performance
- Drive the management of change in the business area through direct reports and teams by providing inputs for, and partaking in change initiatives, programmes and projects taking into account best practice and standards in the business environment
- Recommend and manage the budget for the business area and monitor financial performance so that the business is aware of anticipated costs and revenues, areas of unsatisfactory performance and improvement opportunities are identified and addressed to ensure the budget is managed in line with requirements
- Develop and oversee the creation and implementation of the required policies, procedures and controls covering all areas of the business area’s activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements and standards are fulfilled while ensuring that ADCB delivers best-in-class services, products and innovation whilst safeguarding the Bank
- Demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank’s required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions
The ideal candidate should have the following experience
- At least 15 years of experience in banking or financial services industry
- Bachelor’s Degree - Finance, Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering
