Overview

Executive Director of Strategy (UAEN) to partner with the Chairman and lead a team delivering strategic priorities of national importance. This role requires vision, agility, and a strategic consulting mindset. The Executive Director will establish and lead a rapid response unit (internal consulting-style) delivering fast, high-impact solutions, socio-economic analysis, and strategic insights to senior leadership (Ministerial level).

Responsibilities

• Define and implement long-term strategic direction across high-priority agendas.
• Build and lead a rapid response consulting-style team to support urgent initiatives.
• Develop an ecosystem of partnerships to ensure data / knowledge sharing to drive high-impact initiatives.
• Provide advanced socio-economic and policy analysis to guide decision-making.
• Provide a 360-degree view on strategic decision-making on rapid response initiatives critical to the Chairman and other Senior Leaders.
• Deliver data-driven recommendations through modelling, research, and scenario planning.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across government, semi-government, and private sectors.
• Lead and mentor a lean team, including a Director, Program Managers, and junior staff.

Qualifications

• Experience: 10-15+ years in strategy, policy, consulting, or transformation roles. Backgrounds from top consulting firms, think tanks, research institutes, or senior government strategy / policy roles are highly valued.
• Education: Master’s degree or higher in Public Policy, Economics, Business Administration, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Arabic - Written & Verbal
