OUR EXPECTATIONS FROM THE ROLE:

  • Collaborate with clients to craft individual events.
  • Ensure smooth transition from sales to event planning.
  • Handle groups and events contracted by the sales team, ranging from 1 to 450 rooms/guests per night.
  • Focus on popup groups and events, serving as the main contact for the Marriott Regional Office.
  • Proactively identify potential problems and conflicts, offering solutions to improve guest satisfaction and planning efficiency.
  • Create Banquet Event Orders.
  • Accurately forecast event needs, including bedrooms and catering.
  • Provide guidance and support during events.
  • Maintain knowledge of products and services.
  • Handle billing, prepare invoices, and ensure billing accuracy.
  • Take ownership of the planning and coordination of assigned groups and events.
  • Maintain continuous communication with operational teams.
  • Be available during events for your assigned groups.
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors.
  • Organize and plan group rooming arrangements, coordinating with housing partners.
  • Guide clients throughout events, acting as an expert partner.
  • Attend daily BEO meetings.
  • Upsell last-minute items to maximize profitability.
  • Conduct pre- and post-conference meetings following Marriott standards.
  • Coordinate activities related to pre- and post-event processes.
  • Communicate challenging situations to relevant departments.
  • Handle guest complaints professionally and resolve issues.
  • Work on individual projects alongside event organization.
  • Follow department timelines for BEO actualization, group resume distribution, rostering, and forecasting.
  • Post Bonvoy points promptly after verifying criteria.
  • Work ethically, honestly, and with integrity.
