About the Role

We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Events & Corporate Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and growth of commercial and corporate operations at a high-profile sports venue.

In this role, you'll take charge of end-to-end event management, develop marketing strategies, and build strong relationships with corporate partners. You’ll play a key role in ensuring exceptional visitor experiences, while also driving operational excellence and revenue growth.

What You'll Do

• Deliver top-tier service for all corporate bookings and venue events
• Oversee staff onboarding, training, and ongoing development
• Manage venue operations and scheduling for events and corporate programs
• Ensure all health & safety standards are met and maintained
• Lead recruitment efforts for the events & corporate team
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to execute programs
• Develop and implement marketing initiatives for events and exhibitions
• Engage and support corporate clients, ensuring a smooth and high-quality experience
• Coordinate staffing for events and maintain strong team performance

What We're Looking For

Must-Have Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 4 in Spectator Safety Management
• IOSH Managing Safely certification
• Degree or equivalent in leisure, sports, or recreation

Experience:

• 10+ years in sports event delivery, ideally within cycling or velodrome environments
• Strong understanding of event health & safety regulations
• Proven track record in organizing and managing large-scale events
• Knowledge of sports industry standards and event operations
• Budget management and strategic planning skills
• Willingness to work weekends and extended hours during event periods
