A leading hotel in Abu Dhabi seeks an Events Coordinator to oversee and execute events with meticulous attention to detail while ensuring exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Event Management or Hospitality, have relevant experience, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in event planning or coordination in a luxury hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Experience handling weddings, corporate events, or high-profile gatherings is a plus.
  • Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning including timelines, setups, and logistics.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal hotel departments.

Job description

  • Work closely with clients to understand their event vision, needs, and expectations.
  • Coordinate all aspects of event planning including timelines, banquet setups, AV requirements, menus, decor, and logistics.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal hotel departments (Banquets, Kitchen, Housekeeping, Front Office, etc.)
  • Prepare detailed event orders (BEOs), floor plans, and function summaries.
  • Assist with on-site event management to ensure smooth execution and exceptional guest experience.
  • Support the sales team with event proposals, quotations, and follow-ups.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include :

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in event planning or coordination in a luxury hotel, event venue, or hospitality setting.
  • Experience handling weddings, corporate events, or high-profile gatherings is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
  • Attention to detail and a creative mindset for crafting memorable guest experiences
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities; able to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Highly professional, well-groomed, and guest-focused
