Job description

We are looking for an Event Manager who will oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of multiple pop-up events and exhibitions across the UAE.

This role requires a seasoned professional with strong event management experience, capable of managing complex logistics, coordinating with diverse teams, and delivering high-quality events under tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking to ensure seamless event operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end planning and execution of multiple pop-up events and exhibitions, including budgeting, logistics coordination, vendor management, timeline execution, and on-site supervision.
  • Manage event progress and deliverables, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., merchandising, ticketing) and external stakeholders (e.g., site management, vendors) to ensure smooth project implementation.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue setup, merchandising logistics, and transportation of event materials.
  • Provide administrative support, such as scheduling meetings, arranging site visits, and maintaining detailed project documentation.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to secure cost-effective and high-quality services.
  • Supervise on-site event operations, managing staff, volunteers, and contractors to ensure flawless execution.
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues during planning and execution, maintaining composure under pressure.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations to assess outcomes, gather feedback, and recommend improvements for future events.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the organization’s event objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in exhibition or event management, with a proven track record of managing multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong expertise in driving event execution and managing complex processes from planning to completion.
  • Exceptional project management, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English; additional language skills (e.g., Arabic) are a plus.
