Job Purpose:
The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from start to finish. The role ensures smooth logistics, strong stakeholder communication, and high-quality delivery that reflects the company’s brand and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Events Manager in planning and executing corporate, promotional, and community events.
- Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure services and negotiate contracts.
- Handle logistics such as venue setup, catering, equipment, travel, and accommodations.
- Work closely with internal departments (marketing, communications, HR, etc.) to align event objectives.
- Develop and manage event timelines, checklists, and budgets.
- Oversee on-site event operations, including setup, registration, speaker coordination, and issue resolution.
- Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and brand requirements.
- Collect feedback post-event and prepare evaluation reports with recommendations for improvement.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
- Proven experience in coordinating corporate or large-scale events.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and event management software/tools.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
- Creativity and problem-solving mindset.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel when required.
