Job Purpose:

The Events Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events from start to finish. The role ensures smooth logistics, strong stakeholder communication, and high-quality delivery that reflects the company’s brand and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Events Manager in planning and executing corporate, promotional, and community events.
  • Coordinate with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure services and negotiate contracts.
  • Handle logistics such as venue setup, catering, equipment, travel, and accommodations.
  • Work closely with internal departments (marketing, communications, HR, etc.) to align event objectives.
  • Develop and manage event timelines, checklists, and budgets.
  • Oversee on-site event operations, including setup, registration, speaker coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and brand requirements.
  • Collect feedback post-event and prepare evaluation reports with recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Events Management, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in coordinating corporate or large-scale events.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and event management software/tools.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines.
  • Creativity and problem-solving mindset.
