Job summary

Fruitful Day seeks an Event & Catering Assistant with a valid driver’s license to support client events across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. You will assist with setup, food and beverage service, and light food preparation while ensuring smooth operations and excellent guest experiences.

Based in Dubai, you’ll work with the F&B team under the Event & Catering Lead, staying organized and professional during busy events and maintaining high food safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in event support, catering, or hospitality, or strong willingness to learn.
• Comfortable with hands-on food prep and light menu items.
• Strong customer service orientation and a genuine desire to make guests happy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive and organized, able to stay calm during busy events.
• Flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Support event and catering operations including setup, food and beverage preparation, and guest service.
• Help with basic food preparation, such as blending smoothies and juices and assembling grab-and-go items.
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout all event stages.
• Collaborate with the Event & Catering Lead and team in a positive, team-oriented environment.
• Communicate professionally with clients and teammates to deliver a great event experience.
• Flag on-site issues promptly to the Event & Catering Lead for quick resolution.
• Help monitor inventory and event supplies.
