Job summary

AW Rostamani Group seeks an experienced EV technician to perform repairs in line with manufacturer standards in Dubai. You will diagnose faults, program and calibrate vehicle ECUs, and ensure work is completed safely and within scheduled times.

Responsibilities include documenting all diagnosis details, parts used, and warranty considerations, while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction. Diploma and at least two years in EV systems are required; UAE driving license is a plus.

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in EV systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out EV repairs to manufacturer standards and adhere to work instructions.
• Record diagnosis, work performed and parts used accurately.
• Diagnose and repair EV faults using advanced tools and program/ calibrate control modules.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness and organized work areas; follow SOPs.
• Provide clear explanations to customers and obtain approvals for additional repairs.

Job purpose

To ensure effective execution of repairs in line with customer expectation/ Requirement by ensuring quality and safety on priority and keeping the promised time deadline.

Job responsibilities:

• Carry out Electric Vehicles repairs as per manufacturers standard and comply with work instructions manual on to the highest standard.
• Carry out all work completely and effectively whilst adhering to scheduled times to maintain efficiency.
• Effectively record details of diagnosis, work completed, and components utilized in line with manufacturer standards.
• F1 – Fix it Right First Time.
• Diagnose and repair EV faults using advanced tools.
• Program and calibrate vehicle control modules for optimal performance
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections, ensuring safety standards.
• Collaborate with Technical team to enhance vehicle software and hardware.
• Provide exceptional customer service by explaining technical issues clearly.
• Ensure that materials drawn on job cards are used for respective vehicle.
• Proper handling of special tools.
• Raising parts requisition
• Fill up warranty tags, attach with warranty parts and store it in the warranty room.
• Inform/obtain approval from Team Leader for additional repairs/warranty jobs.
• Keep work areas clean organized and safe from hazards to health and safety.
• Ensure safety procedures and requirements are strictly followed as per SOP.

Educational Qualification

• Diploma or Equivalent Qualification

Work Experience

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in EV systems.

Competencies

• Proficient in computer diagnostics, programming, and EV communication protocols.
• Strong technical-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certification in Electric Vehicle Repair or equivalent.
• Valid UAE driving license an advantage.
