Job summary

Amana Group is seeking a motivated Mechanical Estimator in Abu Dhabi to support tendering across mechanical, piping, industrial, infrastructure, utility, oil & gas, and fuel-related projects. The role emphasizes reviewing documents, preparing MTOs and cost estimates, and evaluating supplier quotations.

Candidates should have 5–10 years in mechanical estimation, knowledge of RFIs/RFQs/BOQs, and familiarity with ASME/API/ASTM/NFPA. Experience with aviation fuel systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in Mechanical Estimation and Tendering.
• Experience in new-build, modification, expansion, upgrade, or refurbishment projects.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings, specs, and tender documents.
• Knowledge of RFIs, MTOs, RFQs, BOQs, and cost estimation.
• Experience with underground and above-ground piping systems.
• Exposure to valve chambers, utility networks and civil interfacing will be advantageous.
• Familiarity with ASME, API, ASTM, NFPA standards.
• Experience evaluating supplier and subcontractor quotations.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Estimator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have experience in mechanical, piping, industrial, infrastructure, utility, oil & gas, or fuel-related projects. Candidates with a strong piping background and willingness to learn aviation fuel systems are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, and BOQs.

• Good understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Knowledge of RFIs, Material Take-Offs (MTO), RFQs, BOQs, and cost estimation.
• Experience in underground and above-ground piping systems.
• Exposure to valve chambers, utility networks, pump stations, and related civil interface works will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with international standards such as ASME, API, ASTM, and NFPA.
• Experience in supplier and subcontractor quotation evaluation.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Experience with Candy Estimation Software is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
