Job description

We are seeking a detailoriented and analytical Estimator to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As an Estimator you will play a crucial role in our organization by preparing accurate cost estimates for infrastructure maintenance and construction projects analyzing data and contributing to the overall success of our bidding process.

• Develop comprehensive cost estimates for construction projects of varying sizes and complexities
• Analyze blueprints specifications proposals and other documentation to prepare time cost materials and labor estimates
• Expert in CCS Candy
• Consult with clients vendors personnel in other departments to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues
• Prepare and maintain a database of previous bids and current cost information
• Conduct quantity takeoffs and develop detailed cost breakdowns
• Identify potential risks and opportunities within project estimates
• Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure estimate accuracy and completeness
• Stay updated on market trends pricing and new estimating techniques
• Participate in prebid meetings and site visits as required
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and presentations

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or Quantity Survey
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating
• Proficiency in estimating software such as CCS Candy or similar tools
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent knowledge of construction methods materials and industry standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Excel
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience in cost analysis and budget preparation
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE
• Familiarity with MENA region construction practices and market trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
• Certified Professional Estimator (CPE) certification preferred would be advantage
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
