Job summary

Dutco Construction Co. (L.L.C) is seeking an experienced Estimator to analyze architectural drawings and tender documents for interior fit-out projects.

You will quantify materials and labor, compute direct and indirect costs, and ensure profitability while remaining competitive. You will collaborate with project managers, designers, and subcontractors to refine scope and identify cost-saving opportunities, and prepare comprehensive tender submissions with pricing breakdowns and preliminary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Professional certifications such as RICS or CIOB.
• 5–7 years of estimating experience for interior fit-out projects.
• Strong understanding of interior construction methods, materials and finishes.
• Experience preparing tender submissions with pricing breakdowns.

Job description

Analyze architectural drawings specifications and other tender documents to accurately quantify all materials and labor required for interior fit-out projects

Develop detailed cost estimates including direct costs indirect costs and profit margins ensuring competitiveness and profitability

Collaborate closely with project managers designers and subcontractors to understand project scope and identify potential cost-saving opportunities

Prepare comprehensive tender submissions including pricing breakdowns method statements and preliminary programs adhering to strict deadlines

Possess a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.

Hold professional certifications such as RICS, CIOB, or equivalent, demonstrating a commitment to industry standards.

Have a minimum of 5-7 years of dedicated experience in estimating for interior fit-out projects within the construction industry.

Demonstrate a strong understanding of various interior construction methods, materials, and finishes.
