Job summary

EGIS ENGINEERING CONSULTANTS in Dubai seeks a highly experienced Estimator focused on new bridge construction projects in the UAE. This pre‑contract role covers tendering for flyovers, interchanges, elevated structures and all associated cost work.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years UAE experience in bridge estimation, be proficient with BOQ preparation, rate build‑ups and tender submissions, and skilled in Candy software and temporary works planning.

Qualifications

• 7+ years UAE experience in estimation of bridge construction projects.
• Proven experience with main contractors executing bridge/highway infrastructure projects.
• Strong expertise in bridge construction methodologies (cast‑in‑situ, precast, segmental, post‑tensioning).
• Temporary works and specialized construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for new bridge construction projects.
• Review and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, and tender documents specific to bridge works.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs for all bridge components: Foundations, Substructure, Superstructure.
• Develop comprehensive rate analysis for bridge activities and temporary works.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement to obtain inputs for pricing.
• Evaluate and finalize subcontractor and supplier quotations for specialized bridge works.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions in line with client requirements.
• Conduct value engineering and cost optimization exercises during the tender stage.
• Support in tender clarifications, negotiations, and bid finalization.

We are seeking a highly experienced Estimator specializing exclusively in new bridge construction projects in the UAE. The role is strictly focused on pre‑contract estimation and tendering for upcoming bridge works including flyovers, interchanges, and elevated structures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for new bridge construction projects.
• Review and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, and tender documents specific to bridge works.
• Perform detailed quantity take‑offs for all bridge components: Foundations (piles, pile caps); Substructure (piers, abutments); Superstructure (deck slabs, girders, post‑tensioned elements).
• Develop comprehensive rate analysis for bridge‑specific activities, including precast segmental construction, launching girder operations, specialized formwork, and temporary works.
• Coordinate with engineering, planning, and procurement teams to obtain accurate inputs for pricing.
• Evaluate and finalize subcontractor and supplier quotations for specialized bridge works.
• Prepare technical and commercial tender submissions in line with client requirements.
• Conduct value engineering and cost optimization exercises during the tender stage.
• Support in tender clarifications, negotiations, and bid finalization.
