Job summary

Orro Interior Design LLC is seeking an Estimator for a full-time, on-site role in Dubai to prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects.

You will review drawings, perform quantity take-offs, gather quotations, and compile BOQs and cost breakdowns, coordinating with project teams to ensure budgets align with client requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in quantity take-off, cost estimation, and preparation of BOQs for interior fit-out projects.
• Proficiency in estimation and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Excel, estimation tools) and strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of civil works, MEP systems, and bespoke joinery, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and project specifications.
• Experience collaborating with project management, procurement, and site teams, including vendor and subcontractor coordination.
• Previous experience as an Estimator in interior fit-out, construction, or a related field in the UAE market is highly beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.

Role Description

The Estimator role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Estimator will prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects, including materials, labor, subcontractor works, and specialized trades such as civil, MEP, and joinery. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting quantity take-offs, requesting and analyzing vendor and subcontractor quotations, and preparing BOQs and cost breakdowns. The role involves coordinating with project managers, designers, procurement, and site teams to validate project scope, track cost changes, and support budgeting and tender submissions. The Estimator will also update cost databases, support value engineering, and help ensure that projects are delivered within budget and in line with company quality standards.
