Job summary

Job description

• Ensure that estimation procedures are thoroughly followed and take responsibility for the selection of tenders.
• Conduct a comprehensive review of tender documents and the scope of work allocate tasks to subordinates and lead pre-tender and post-tender meetings and discussions.
• Respond to queries from clients and consultants and study the general and preliminary requirements of the project.
• Demonstrate a strong track record of achievement in a similar role ideally with a background in site engineering site management or quantity surveying.
• Liaise with various departments for the technical submission of tenders.
• Review all tender documents brief top management on project details and secure the most competitive offers for subcontracted items in line with tender specifications.
• Finalize rate analysis including direct and indirect costs profit and overheads in coordination with top management.
• Prepare the preliminary project budget upon award.

Qualifications :

• You are a Civil or Industrial Engineer specializing in construction.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience with expertise in estimating large civil works or complex building projects.
• You possess strong practical and theoretical knowledge enabling you to handle situations within your area of work with a solid conceptual understanding.
• You have good knowledge of ICT.
• You are proficient in English.
