Job summary

High Trust General Contracting and Transport is seeking an Estimation Engineer to prepare accurate cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for earthworks, infrastructure, roadworks, and site development across the UAE.

You will review drawings and specs, perform quantity take-offs, obtain quotations, coordinate with engineering, procurement and operations, attend site visits, and help identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining records for handovers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of estimation experience in contracting, earthworks, infrastructure, or road construction.
• Proficiency in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and tendering procedures.

Estimation Engineer

Company Name – High Trust General Contracting and Transport

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for earthworks, infrastructure, roadworks, and site development projects across the UAE.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documents for construction projects.


• Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements to determine project scope.


• Perform quantity take-offs for excavation, cut & fill, backfilling, grading, and infrastructure works.


• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.


• Coordinate with the Engineering, Procurement, and Operations teams during the tendering process.


• Attend site visits when required to assess project conditions and support estimation activities.


• Identify cost-saving opportunities and contribute to value engineering initiatives.


• Maintain accurate estimation records and support project handovers after award.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.


• Minimum 3 years of estimation experience in contracting, earthworks, infrastructure, or road construction projects.


• Good understanding of quantity take-offs, cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and tendering procedures.


• Experience in estimating excavation, cut & fill, grading, and site development works.


• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and estimation software.


• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred:

• UAE construction industry experience.


• Knowledge of infrastructure, roadworks, and earthworks projects.


• Familiarity with local construction standards and tendering practices.
