Job Description

• Analyze project drawings, specifications, and related documents to prepare detailed cost estimates and BOQs.
• Research and evaluate material and labor costs, utilizing industry databases and market trends to maintain competitive and realistic pricing.
• Perform quantity take-offs for civil and telecom infrastructure projects (e.g., cable trenching, duct laying, manholes, fiber optic networks).
• Obtain and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for material and labor costs.
• Prepare commercial and technical bid proposals within the tender deadlines.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and planning departments during tender preparation.
• Conduct site visits (when required) to understand project conditions and constraints.
• Review and update historical data and cost benchmarks.
• Monitor and analyze market trends in material, equipment, and labor costs specific to the UAE.
• Prepare variation claims, value engineering proposals, and assist in budget preparation when needed.
• Support project handover to the execution team post-award.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
• Minimum 5-7 years of estimation experience in UAE, preferably in both civil and telecom infrastructure projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and estimation softwares.
• Strong understanding of UAE construction standards, telecom civil works, and local market rates.
• Knowledge of authority requirements (Etisalat, DU, ADDC, etc.) is a plus.
