To act as proposal lead on individual RFPs for Process & Pipeline and Umbilical Pre-commissioning and contribute towards achieving the booking plan of EnerMech's AMEC region.
Main Responsibilities & Key Result Areas
- Act as lead responsible person for planning, preparation, approvals, submission, and close-out of RFPs.
- Prepare and lead tender kick-off calls.
- Prepare technical and commercial proposal documents.
- Write methodologies and execution plans for deepwater and onshore pipelines pre-commissioning, decommissioning, ILI, and other pipeline inspection and repair activities.
- Write methodologies and execution plans for umbilical testing, inspection, monitoring, pre-commissioning, and repair activities.
- Carry out cost, time, and resource estimates for deepwater and onshore pipeline pre-commissioning and umbilicals pre-commissioning activities.
- Prepare P&L, GP, GM, and cash flow reports.
- Prepare manpower and equipment deployment plans.
- Deal with third parties to identify material and subcontracting costs.
- Provide technical and commercial clarifications with clients.
- Prepare approval files, graphs, P&L sheets, cost breakdowns, etc.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and maintain clear visibility of the progress on each tender.
- Coordinate with Operations, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, Legal, Tax, BD, and other divisions for tender input in a timely manner and take their sign-off prior to submission of proposals.
- Follow the tender approval matrix and ensure correct approvals are in place in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate with evidence the cost efficiencies achieved through the estimation process.
- Manage the monthly reporting data.
- Handle pre and post-tender clarifications.
- Ensure compliance with the tender format.
- Conduct storyboard reviews through kick-off and progress calls for individual tenders.
- Bring in innovative solutions on complex pricing schedules.
- Manage tender folders on the server.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by the Tendering Manager to support the workload.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Previous experience in a techno-commercial role.
- Knowledge of deepwater and onshore pipelines and umbilicals pre-commissioning is mandatory.
- Understanding of the onshore/offshore oil and gas market.
- Experience in engineering and procedure writing.
- Previous experience in front-end customer engagement and complex solution offerings.
Preferred:
- Relevant site-based industry experience.
- Previous experience in tendering/commercial role.
- Knowledge of the Africa, Middle East, and Caspian Oil & Gas market.
