Job Description
- Conduct assessments of clients' established systems to ensure compliance with international standards such as, but not limited to, ISO 14064 series, ISO 14068-1, and other ESG-related standards.
- Carry out third-party assurance engagements related to ESG information.
- Review and verify documentation related to environmental, social, and governance practices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting findings, non-conformities, and areas for improvement.
- Facilitate training sessions for clients on ESG topics to enhance their understanding and implementation of ESG practices.
- Engage with various stakeholders to gather information and ensure comprehensive audit coverage.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in an ESG role as an auditor, project manager, or similar role.
- Completed Lead Auditor courses in standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 50001 at a minimum. Additional qualifications in sustainability courses (e.g., ISO 14064, Carbon Neutrality, GRI, ISO 37001, ISO 31000, SA 8000) are advantageous.
- Prior experience in a third-party certification body as an Auditor, Lead Auditor, Verifier, Lead Verifier, Assuror, or Lead Assuror is highly preferred.
