Job summary

NMC in Abu Dhabi seeks an experienced physician to deliver high-quality emergency care, maintain patient safety, and uphold governance and quality standards. You will oversee urgent cases, coordinate with ER staff, and ensure continuous professional development while maintaining complete medical records.

Responsibilities include rapid assessment, treatment, team leadership, and timely referrals to specialists, with emphasis on patient stabilization and compliant discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Active medical practice in emergency care with CPD eligibility.
• Specialty qualification recognised by UAE healthcare authority.
• Certification in life support (e.g. BLS/ACLS/PALS/ATLS/NRP).

Responsibilities

• Maintain active privileges aligned with scope of services and renew every 2 years.
• Assess emergency patients immediately and oversee recovery.
• Develop care plans and refer to specialists as needed.
• Ensure patient stability before transfer and coordinate with ER staff.
• Stabilize patients and provide discharge instructions and paperwork.
• Lead and direct the emergency team during critical events.
