Job summary

Talentspoc is seeking a Specialist Emergency Medicine Physician in Dubai to deliver timely, high-quality care for patients with acute and life-threatening conditions.

The role emphasizes rapid assessment, decisive action, and coordination with ICU, surgery, and other teams in a fast-paced facility.

Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• MD/MS/DNB/Arab Board/MRCP in Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum 3 years post-specialization experience in Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in emergency and acute care medicine.
• Strong decision-making and clinical management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and stabilize patients with acute medical and surgical emergencies.
• Perform rapid triage, clinical assessment, and investigations.
• Manage trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, abdominal and other emergencies.
• Provide emergency resuscitation and stabilization including airway/CV management.
• Perform emergency procedures within training/privileges.
• Interpret labs, ECGs, imaging and other investigations.
• Coordinate with specialists, ICU, surgery and departments for patient management.
• Manage critically ill/unstable patients and arrange admission/transfer.
• Provide safe pain management and emergency medications.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Participate in ED quality improvement, audits and CME.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, patient safety and hospital protocols.

The ideal candidate should have strong emergency department experience, excellent clinical judgment, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, stabilize, and manage patients presenting with acute medical and surgical emergencies.
• Perform rapid triage, clinical assessment, and appropriate investigations.
• Manage trauma, cardiac, respiratory, neurological, abdominal, and other emergency conditions.
• Provide emergency resuscitation and stabilization, including airway and cardiovascular management.
• Perform emergency procedures within the scope of training and privileges.
• Interpret laboratory results, ECGs, imaging, and other diagnostic investigations.
• Coordinate with specialists, ICU, surgery, and other departments for appropriate patient management.
• Manage critically ill and unstable patients and arrange appropriate admission or transfer.
• Provide safe and effective pain management and emergency medications.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records.
• Participate in emergency department quality improvement, clinical audits, and continuing medical education.
• Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, patient safety standards, and hospital protocols.
