Job summary

Al Rostamani Group is seeking a Draughtsman (EPLAN/ELCAD) to prepare electrical schematics, panel layouts and fabrication drawings for control and protection panels in the UAE.

You will translate concepts into detailed drawings, maintain document control, support workshop and site teams, and ensure compliance with IEC/NFPA standards while collaborating with design engineers and project managers.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
• 2–3 years as a draughtsman in control panels, switchgear or heavy electrical fabrication.
• Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD; AutoCAD/EPLAN/ELCAD.
• Solid understanding of GD&T and electrical mounting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop GA, layout and assembly drawings for control panels and sub-assemblies.
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for sheet metal and busbar systems.
• Create electrical schematics and panel layouts using EPLAN.
• Maintain device tags, cable schedules, BOM and documentation.
