Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a draughtsman in a heavy electrical manufacturing environment.
• Expertise in creating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings.

Responsibilities

• Develop General Arrangement (GA), layout, and assembly drawings for control and protection panels.
• Prepare detailed fabrication drawings for sheet metal components, including assembly rules.
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts using EPLAN.

Skills

Expert user of 2D/3D CAD software

Proficiency in AutoCAD & EPLAN/ELCAD

Strong experience in creating detailed manufacturing and assembly drawings

Good understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Basic knowledge of electrical components

Education

Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent qualification
