Job Description
Key Tasks and responsibilities:
In this job the Sales Manager EPC Business will be responsible to:
- To grow the projects sales business through EPC contractors and process packagers in the areas of Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, Chemicals, heavy industry
- Develop a deep understanding of the EPC customers and markets (for the application/product), including market drivers and competitive landscape within the scope. He/she is the owner of Marketing plan for the specific business.
- Develop a project funnel and maintaining it in ONECRM and drive project prioritization / project strategy & other deliverables.
- Identify key differentiators at the early stage of project cycle and introduce product /application specific features
- Engage on a continuous basis with tier-1, tier-2 EPC contractors and process packagers
- Specific focus on projects involving clean technologies and sustainability
- To look at unexplored markets & customer base and drive the business growth by making action plans
- Develop key account management plan, covering account strategy, relationship and engagement plan
- Periodical update meetings with central teams(s) for large-scale and strategic projects and involving international contractors
- Contract review on technical and commercial aspects, costing.
- Participate in technical and commercial meetings including leading the negotiations
Your background
- Chemical/ Mechanical Engineer having at least 8 - 10 years of experience in the field Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Chemical, Power industries
- Strong experience dealing with EPC contractors and Process Packagers
- Business acumen Business Plans and analysis, contracts, pricing, sales & marketing
- High level of networking with stakeholders
- Familiarity with the specifications and engineering standards of regional Oil & Gas companies will be an added advantage, though not a pre-requisite.
- Ability of working individually and independently as well as in team
- Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with strong oral and written communication skills
- Willing to travel on regular basis across the region.
- Good communication skills, proficiency in excel, word, presentation packages
