Job summary

Lab 90 studio is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Specialist for a part-time remote position. You will support development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS practices across the organization, monitoring compliance and identifying risks while collaborating with diverse teams.

Responsibilities include creating safety guidelines, contributing to risk assessments, and assisting with incident reporting and regulatory guidance to integrate EHS into studio operations and remote work

Role Description The Environmental Health & Safety Specialist at Lab 90 Studio is a part-time, remote role responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of environmental health and safety practices across the organization. Day-to-day tasks include monitoring compliance with internal EHS policies, identifying potential environmental and occupational health risks, and recommending corrective actions. The specialist will create and update safety guidelines, contribute to risk assessments, and support incident reporting and follow-up. This role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote safety awareness, providing clear guidance on regulatory requirements, and helping integrate EHS considerations into studio operations and remote work practices.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Environmental Health and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices, including risk identification and mitigation.
• Experience with Environmental Compliance, including understanding relevant regulations, standards, and reporting requirements.
• Background in Occupational Health, with the ability to assess workplace conditions and recommend employee health and safety improvements.
• Effective Communication skills, with the ability to convey EHS policies and procedures clearly to diverse stakeholders.
• Relevant education in environmental science, occupational health, industrial hygiene, safety management, or a related field.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple priorities, and maintain accurate documentation.
• Professional certifications in EHS or occupational health (e.g., CSP, CIH, or equivalent) are beneficial.
• Familiarity with creative or studio environments and comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams is a plus.
