Job summary

LightHouseTV.nl seeks a Senior HSE Specialist for a part-time, remote position. You will develop, implement, and maintain HSE standards across our distributed operations, including media production and broadcasting workflows.

You will create policies, perform risk assessments, and advise on safe practices for both physical and virtual environments. Collaboration with leadership and teams enables training, incident investigations, and continuous HSE improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong Environment Health and Safety (EHS) expertise with program design and implementation.
• Environmental awareness and occupational health skills including risk assessment and preventive measures.
• Training skills to develop and deliver clear HSE materials for diverse teams.
• Experience in media, broadcasting or similar industries is beneficial, especially with remote or hybrid work.
• Knowledge of applicable HSE regulations and standards, and incident reporting/root-cause analysis.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management to influence leadership decisions.
• Professional HSE/EHS certifications and relevant degree or practical experience advantageous.

Role Description

The Senior HSE Specialist is a part-time, remote role responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards across LightHouseTV.nl's activities. This role involves creating and updating HSE policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and advising on safe working practices for both physical and virtual work environments. The Senior HSE Specialist will monitor compliance with relevant regulations, coordinate incident reporting and investigation, and recommend corrective actions. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with leadership and project teams, delivering training and awareness sessions, and providing guidance on occupational health, environmental impact, and safety measures in media production and broadcasting. The role also includes continuous improvement of HSE frameworks to support a growing, distributed workforce.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Health & Safety expertise, with experience designing and implementing HSE programs.
• Candidates should possess Environmental Awareness and Occupational Health skills, including risk assessment, hazard identification, and preventive measures.
