Criteria Description

Education Qualification

Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering OR Environmental Science (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue)

Professional/ Technical Qualifications

Minimum one of the following:

• NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Certificate for Environmental Management
• ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor
• Any other HSE certifications (considered at ADNOC Group discretion). Other HSE Trainings / Certifications will be added advantage.

Work Experience

Minimum 4-6 years of experience in any industry.

At least 3 years of experience in managing and implementing Environmental aspects in projects/operations/production in the oil & gas or petrochemical industries.

Skills and Competencies

• Have strong understanding of the Environmental issues practices in the Oil & Gas operations/EPC business.
• Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and Environmental legislative requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement Environment Management Plans.
• Ability to conduct Environmental Monitoring.
• Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant Environment related procedures and standards.
• Ability to conduct Environment audits and inspections.
• Ability to investigate environment related incidents and identify immediate and root causes.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English with good communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills.
