Job summary

Target Engineering Construction Co LLC is seeking an Environmental Engineer to design, implement, and monitor systems that reduce environmental impact and ensure regulatory compliance on large-scale EPC projects in the UAE. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative environmental solutions.

The role requires 4–6 years of experience, including 3 years in oil & gas projects, and a Bachelor in Environmental Engineering or Science.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in any industry with at least 3 years managing environmental aspects in projects/operations in oil & gas” petrochemical environments.
• Strong understanding of environmental issues, practices in Oil & Gas EPC.
• English communication skills and ability to train/advise teams.

Your Role:

As an Environmental Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing, implementing, and monitoring systems that reduce environmental impact and ensure compliance with regulations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions for environmental challenges.

• Conduct environmental assessments and audits

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Must have a minimum of 4–6 years of experience in any industry. At least 3 years of experience in managing and implementing environmental aspects in projects, operations, production in the oil and gas petrochemical industries.

Education: Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science

Qualifications: NEBOSH IGC or NEBOSH Certificate for Environmental Management. ISO 14001 Internal or Lead Auditor. Any other HSE certificates would be an added advantage.

• Have strong understanding of the Environmental issues, practices in the Oil & Gas operations/EPC business.
• Sound understanding of the HSE Management System and Environmental legislative requirements.
• Ability to develop and implement Environment Management Plans
• Ability to conduct Environmental Monitoring
• Ability to conduct training/awareness sessions on relevant Environment related procedures and standards
• Ability to conduct Environment audits and inspections.
• Ability to investigate environment related incidents, identify immediate and root causes.
• Ability to speak, read and write English with good communication skills.
• Effective interpersonal and verbal & written communication skills
