Samsungena seeks an Environmental Officer to assist in developing and implementing the environmental management program on assigned projects. Responsibilities include supporting training, supervising environmental subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with project-specific environmental plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–4 years of construction project experience.
• Basic knowledge of environment and waste management.
• Experience in oil/gas/petrochemical or power plants as an officer.
• Engineering & Construction Company working experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and complying with environmental requirements on projects.
• Support environmental training programs.
• Oversee environmental subcontractors and compile baseline information.
• Assist to manage onsite environmental officers and admin.
• Ensure compliance with Environmental, Construction Environmental Control Plans and other project-specific environmental plans.
• Assist in option studies relating to environmental, permitting and community aspects.
• Support internal audits to ensure procedures and plans.
• Monitor environment and record results.
• Maintain latest list of waste water, ventilation gas.
