Job summary

Orbitworks, Abu Dhabi, seeks a Jr. Test Specialist to help test the next generation of satellites. You will set up electrical test stations, connect equipment, and run procedures to ensure quality.

The role targets Diploma/Associate holders with 0–4 years in electrical testing. Hands-on with oscilloscopes, meters, spectrum analyzers, and data acquisition systems; basic Python for automation and RF testing is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Electronics Engineering Technology or a related field.
• 0-4 years of experience in electrical/electronic testing and measurement.
• Hands-on with electrical test equipment including oscilloscopes, meters and analyzers.
• Strong understanding of basic electronics, circuits, and measurement techniques.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings and test procedures.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with test software and data acquisition systems.
• Basic Python knowledge for test automation is a plus.
• RF testing experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Set up and configure electrical test stations per engineering procedures.
• Integrate and connect test equipment (OSC, PS, SG, spectrum analyzers, DMMs).
• Prepare test fixtures for devices under test (DUTs).
• Execute test procedures and document results.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and assist failure investigations.
• Maintain and calibrate test equipment.
• Create and maintain test documentation and reports.
• Support process improvements in test methods.
• Assist in training junior technicians on equipment and procedures.
