Job summary

ConFlip is seeking an Accountant to join our team in Bani Yas City, UAE. The role focuses on preparing and analyzing accounting records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP and IFRS, and maintaining internal controls. The candidate should be prepared to handle general ledger tasks and monthly management figures.

The position is permanent and full-time; salary is 1,300 AED per month. We welcome applicants with minimal work experience and a proactive approach to accounting functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Knowledge of GAAP and IFRS.
• Strong bookkeeping procedures.
• Excellent analytical skills with an eye for detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, examine and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to strengthen internal controls
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Monitor accounts payable activities to ensure accuracy and timeliness of invoice payments
• Track tax payments and returns
• Maintain general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating, posting transactions; reconciling entries
• Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities and capital; prepare balance sheets; profit/loss statements etc.
• Prepare monthly management figures for review by senior management

Education
