Job description

As the Entertainment Technical Team Leader, you serve as the first level of management within the technical team responsible for overseeing the execution of various entertainment operations, experiences, and events. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring the seamless operation of technical equipment and the successful delivery of captivating shows and events that delight our guests.

Job Scope
  1. Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor technical support specialists, allocate tasks, set performance goals, conduct evaluations, and ensure safety compliance.
  2. Technical Support: Oversee setup, operation, and maintenance of AV, lighting, networks, or technical operations; troubleshoot issues; collaborate with production and sales teams.
  3. Resource Management: Ensure preventative maintenance, coordinate with vendors, and optimize resource allocation.
  4. Quality Assurance: Implement best practices, conduct quality checks, stay updated with industry trends.
  5. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain records of setups, issues, and resolutions.
  6. Collaboration: Work with stage managers, directors, and creative teams to meet technical needs; foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications
  • Engineering or college diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in AV, lighting, show control, network maintenance, and operation.
  • 1 year experience in AVL system installation, show control, and networking.
Skills
  • Effective communication, teamwork, leadership, adaptability, problem-solving, conflict resolution.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Technical training or certification in audiovisual technology, electrical engineering, IT, electronics, or related fields.
  • Certifications like Qsys, Extron, Dante, Medialon, Christie projectors are highly preferred.
  • Experience in amusement parks and live shows is advantageous.
