What You'll Be Doing

The Enterprise Security Architect Lead is responsible for the secure solution design and security architecture of Group solutions. This includes product evaluation, security impact assessments, project security blueprints and high-level design, as well as oversight of functional and non-functional designs, ensuring standards are applied to projects/applications. The ideal candidate will work independently with minimal supervision, collaborating closely with stakeholders across the Group.

• Develop, design, implement, and maintain security architectural standards, best practices, and artifacts across complex environments.
• Ensure appropriate and timely escalation of architecture & design decision conflicts.
• Evaluate third-party solutions, perform detailed technical assessments, and advise the business on integration and technical fit into the existing architecture landscape.
• Collaborate with and instruct third-party development partners and resources on low-level technical design and delivery of IT solutions.
• Partner with business and technology subject-matter experts to translate business requirements into secure technology solutions and strategic directions.
• Ensure solution designs comply with information security architectural principles and align with the long-term strategic roadmap for IT systems architecture.
• Collaborate with other solution architects to provide scalable and adaptable secure architectural solutions, including peer reviews of architecture deliverables.
• Present and evaluate high-level project secure architecture artifacts at governance forums to ensure strategic alignment.
• Run design authority sessions, evaluating designs against established standards and frameworks.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and support the development of the Business Technology Strategy.
• Support the implementation of the security strategy.

What You'll Need To Succeed

• Proven knowledge and experience of international security standards and methodologies.
• Experience designing controls and architecture aligned with ISO standards (e.g., ISO27001, ISO22301 or equivalent).
• Qualifications: SABSA, TOGAF, CISSP.
• 10+ years of deep security domain experience, including at least 4+ years in security architecture and design, covering:

Network and Infrastructure,

• Cloud security architecture and design (e.g., AWS, Azure).

Application Security,

• Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
• Expertise in role-based access control (RBAC), SAML Authentication and Authorization.
• Experience with SIEM monitoring tools (Splunk, Elastic, or similar), log aggregation, and correlation.
