Enterprise Director – Software (Healthcare Platforms)

We are hiring an Enterprise Director (Software) for a leading government-led healthcare transformation initiative in Abu Dhabi. This full-time, leadership role focuses on driving the architecture, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, and interoperable software platforms to support digital health infrastructure across the emirate.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the technical vision, architecture, and roadmap for large-scale enterprise software solutions in healthcare
• Oversee software development across cloud-native, microservices-based platforms using Microsoft Azure (AKS, Data Factory, Logic Apps, etc.)
• Ensure full compliance with healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7, CDA, and terminologies such as SNOMED, LOINC, and CPT
• Manage cross-functional teams including software architects, integration leads, and development teams to drive high-quality delivery
• Guide secure API development using OAuth2, OpenID Connect, and OWASP best practices
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business goals into scalable, standards-based digital solutions
• Enforce governance, security, and compliance (HIPAA, local UAE regulations), and maintain system documentation
• Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend innovations to support evolving healthcare needs

Eligibility & Skills

• 15+ years of experience in enterprise software development
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing complex software programs in Healthcare.
• Proven ability to design and deliver cloud-based, event-driven architectures with microservices
• Deep understanding of healthcare interoperability (FHIR, HL7, CDA, SNOMED, CPT, LOINC)
• Technical fluency in frameworks such as .NET, Java (Spring Boot), React JS / React Native, TypeScript
• Proficient in DevOps methodologies and CI / CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Kubernetes
• Strong leadership, mentorship, and stakeholder management skills
• Arabic speakers and candidates with a European language are preferred
• UAE-based or willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
• Gender diversity candidates encouraged to apply

Preferred Certifications

• HL7 FHIR, Rhapsody Integration Engine, or related healthcare tech certifications
