Job summary

Thales AGS Trading in Abu Dhabi, UAE seeks an Enterprise Data Lead to own the data ecosystem, manage ERP data extraction, and deliver real-time insights across procurement, finance, and sales. You will drive cross-functional data initiatives and oversee digital transformation initiatives.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in data engineering and ERP analytics, with strong Python/SQL skills, and experience in Power BI and Tableau.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in data science, computer science, engineering, or related field.
8–10+ years of professional experience in data engineering, ERP systems and data analytics.
Strong ability to bridge business requirements with technical solutions and to engage stakeholders effectively.

Responsibilities

Act as strategic owner of enterprise data systems and guide the data ecosystem evolution.
Oversee ERP administration, including user access, cloud configurations, and SQL-based extractions across key modules.
Build Event Managers in ERP for alerts and notifications and develop ERP forms used in daily operations.
Collaborate with procurement, supply chain, finance, sales, compliance and IT, plus external partners.
Design and maintain automated data pipelines and real-time data integration for reports and decision tools.
Create documentation, training materials, and knowledge repositories for Power BI reports and dashboards.
