Job summary

Tangent International is seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Architect in Abu Dhabi to lead a strategic data transformation for a major healthcare organization. You will define future-state data architecture, evaluate current platforms, and design scalable foundations to support analytics, AI, and API-driven services.

Lead the establishment of standards, governance, and semantic layers, collaborating with data engineers, governance teams, and business stakeholders to enable enterprise-wide

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a relevant field as a baseline requirement.
• Extensive experience in enterprise data architecture and large-scale data transformations.
• Expertise with Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold) and data modeling.
• Proven ability to design Common Data Models and semantic layers.
• Strong background in data warehousing, analytics, and BI architectures.
• Advanced SQL, data modeling, and dbt experience.
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tools.
• Knowledge of Power BI enterprise reporting frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Assess current enterprise data architecture and analytics landscape.
• Design scalable enterprise data architecture frameworks aligned with business goals.
• Establish Common Data Models for consistency across systems.
• Create Gold Layer architectures for analytics, APIs, and AI use cases.
• Develop and maintain semantic layers for reliable reporting.
• Set architecture standards and governance practices for data management.
• Collaborate with data engineers on Medallion architecture implementations.
• Support AI-ready data platforms for advanced analytics and ML projects.
• Define metadata, data quality, and governance requirements.
• Partner with stakeholders to align data decisions with objectives.
