This role partners with engineering leadership, product and security teams to ensure scalable, secure, cost-effective solutions aligned with business strategy and long-term modernization goals,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 15+ years of relevant technology experience, including hands-on engineering background and 7+ years in architecture roles.
• Proven ability to define enterprise architecture strategy, target architecture, reference architectures, technology roadmaps, standards and governance frameworks.
• Strong enterprise architecture experience across complex engineering organizations, large-scale platforms, digital products and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the enterprise architecture vision.
• Target-state architecture and multi-year technology roadmap for the engineering department.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, patterns and reference architectures across domains.
• Govern enterprise system designs across multiple technology stacks.
• Lead architecture governance forums and design review boards.
• Partner with solution architects and engineering leads to review blueprints and API specifications.
• Define enterprise standards for microservices, SOA, event-driven design and API-led integration.
• Develop enterprise cloud architecture strategy across Azure, AWS and GCP.
• Drive platform modernization and cloud migration programs.
• Define integration architecture including API gateways and service mesh.
• Guide data architecture decisions across relational and NoSQL databases.
• Define secure-by-design architecture standards and encryption practices.
• Establish non-functional requirements for scalability, performance, resilience and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps to define CI/CD and IaC practices.
• Evaluate platforms and vendors through trade-off analysis and POCs.
• Create architecture decision records and governance documents.
• Support portfolio planning and cross-team dependency management.
• Provide architecture guidance for production issues and performance.
• Mentor architects and engineers on best practices.
• Represent engineering architecture in executive discussions.
• Maintain architecture repositories and governance documentation.
