The Enterprise Architect Section Head will manage the establishment and implementation of Enterprise Architecture services and solutions across the board, enabling the business to effectively translate its strategic and business priorities. Ensure a holistic enterprise architecture model for the company, covering all architectural perspectives in line with best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Working closely with the Technology Director the role holder will support and enable business development and change within the information systems the businesses use and make recommendations on the structure and functions that best support the strategy.
• The Enterprise Architect Section Head is responsible for the enterprise analysis, design and implementation plans of the processes and use of business data across the company.
• Leverage influencing and negotiation skills to enable innovative shared solutions in the achievement of business goals.
• The role holder will develop the enterprise architecture framework using their expertise to review processes and innovations in technology to ensure integration of business processes that optimize outcomes.
• Participate in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired outcomes.
• Direct the development strategy and provide executive oversight for strategic direction of business data flow.
• Work Technology leadership team to continually look for leading-edge and innovative solutions that align with the strategic direction.
• Manage the growing maturity of the organization by introducing revisions to enterprise to accommodate the move to a service-centric environment.
• Drive the adoption and commitment to continual service improvement.
• Continually review models to complement the change in focus as the organization's maturity develops.
• Serve on Technology planning and policymaking committees (where relevant) and drive the development of enterprise technology standards, governance processes and performance metrics.
• Other duties as applicable to the role.
• Ensure effective cascading of the functional strategy into section business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing sectional strategies.

Job Qualification

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems or Web Development.
• Certifications in IT Standards, Togaf, Cobit, ITIL are highly preferred
• PMP Certification / Program Management (PgMP) Certification is preferred
• Full proficiency in English (with proficiency in Arabic highly desirable)
• High level of competency in relevant software applications
• Administrative skills and attention to detail
• 10 to 15 years' experience in IT and business / industry (5 years of managerial experience)
• Demonstrated experience in Enterprise architecture and analyzing customer and business needs with translation to business processes
• Knowledge of Jave EE, PL / SQL, Python, Linux, Net Core and JSON Scripts, AWS Compute and Database
• Expertise in cloud solutions IaaS, PaaS and Saas standards
• Experience with MS Azure and AWS Cloud forms
• Experience with DevOps, DeSecOps and LoCode / NoCode solutions
• Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT groups in complex and dynamic environments with the UAE
